Should i.....
buy a 01 LX for 12,000 cdn and do a k20a2/k20a3 swap for... (???)
or buy a new 05 civic lx for like 20,000cdn and put in a turbo for... (3000cdn?)

If you are in tha market for a new or newish car just get a used rsx-s.
skip the middle man
If you can't afford that then get a base rsx or civic hatch si. and go from there. This will be much easier and probably cheaper than buying and swapping another car.
