New Ex Engine, need turbo advice!
I finaaly decided to go turbo, a garret t25bb turbo kit
, now that thats outta the way, i need to know! what are some other things i can to to increase upon this hp! I want a daliy driver so i plan to run 8-12 lbs of boost! also I have nitrous, can i still use it with the turbo(safely)? I'm doing internals... but so far all i have is 8.5:1 forged pistons.... what eles should i do???? any help is appreciated! I'm new to the game so explian as if i were a retard
! I plan on using e-manage, do i still need a vtec controller? also I have DC sports 4 to 1 headers for sell!

8-12 lbs on a block that isnt built for it???? That sounds like a lot to me. Most people run 7-8 lbs and thats really it. I know you said you were going to run internals, but damn. That still sounds like a lot to me.
i'd agree. not sure if you have a standard or a/t, but i would definately strengthen your internals before you move past 8 psi. as fars runnin nitrous, i'm not sure that would be a great idea, but i've never read anything about it being done either.

i also happen to moderate the forced induction forum on the boards. you would probably find more answers there about e-manage tuning...
theres a couple threads about internals and nitrous with boost so it would be in your best interest to search because all you're gonna get from the members in the FI forum is a whole lot of flaming...
