Question Has anyone switched to Motul Gear 300?

Hey guys, my tranny's not grabbin the way it used to (61K km, fluid never changed, never driven hard) and there's an almost-imperceptible whirr when shifting 1-2 and 2-3. You have to turn off the stereo to hear it, and it could just be that I have to get used to my car again after not having driven it for a week, but I'm not taking chances, especially after all the reading about the D17 5-speed tranny on here. My shop is getting me some Motul for my next oil change (mmm....8100....mmmm) and I think they can get me a good deal on the Gear 300 75w90 gear oil at the same time, so I'm thinking about making the switch. I read up on the forums and around the net and while people say the Redline MTL is good, it doesn't protect as well as say Motul. So yeah, since I'm getting it for cheap I'm definitely getting it anyway (will post review once switched....eventually), but I wanted to know if anyone else is running it and how they like it.

Redline and Motul are both very comparable. Both are top of the line and very durable. I would recommend either.

75w90 is too thick for our tranny...honda mtf, redline mtl or Royal purple synchromax are better...
Our tranny is built to have 70w80 (almost same viscosity than motor oil 10w30...)
RP synchromax is a little thicker at 75w80...dont go thicker than that
btw honda mtf and redline mtl are 70w80
