Need some help with speeding in NV ticket (101 mph)
Guys,
I drove to Vegas last weekend for some fun. On my way home, the birds clocked me at 101, 92, and 101. The officer gave me a ticket for reckless driving and a nice fine of $1130!!!.
He explained to me that in NV, anything over 100 mph is a Class G violaion and is considered reckless driving. I have the option to mail my $$$ in or go to court in December.
In Colorado. we can often times meet with the DA and have the charge dropped to something less. I have, however, have had instances that although the charges were lowered, my fine was still the same.
Here is my question. Have any of you guys had to go through this? What happened and would appearing in court help me? Keep in mind that I would have to fly out for the court date.
I have been told to contact Craig P. Kenny. Does anybody have any experience with them?

u should have watched out for those damn planes... honestly i dont know how they work.. i drive from here to cali all the time doing like 110 or faster... but everytime i see a plane i slow down

who gave you the ticket?/ was it highway patrol or metro??? if it was metro i might be able to help you... my b/f is a metro cop... but i do know if you go in person to pay (metro or NHP) you can get the fine cut in half... never had such a high offense...i will ask and get back to you...

woa you got caught on the way to vegas..... Damn last time I took a corvette through there at about 148mph average.
