Yep he sure smoked the hell out of me. We were at the light, I did the typical ricer staredown at his girlfriend. It went green, I spun and and he pulled me by a car length right off the line. And through every gear he only put more and more space between us. She stuck her hand out the window and waved bye-bye, I was ashamed....not really

Well at least thats the story you'll find on a Neon forum later tonight. It probably would have been a better race if I was actually racing too. Its quite easy to win when your the only one racing.

God people in Lafayette are so damn stupid.

So heres how it went, me and the neon are at a light, I needed to be in his lane not too far after the light. I was simply going to out accerlate him and get in his lane. But the I hear his revs start rising, they seemed to rise more and more as the light was closer to going green.

At first I thought his car had a bad idle problem causing the RPMS to rise and fall. I looked at his car to find his girlfriend starring at me. Then it dawned on me, hes cars not broken, he's stalling his automatic.

The light goes green and he gets a little chirp out of all that american muscle, I revved up to 3500 and feathered the clutch, putting a carlength on him before 5 mph His motor sound like it was gonna blow up by the noise it was making. But by the time I got in his lane was about 2 buslengths infront of him. We both turned left and neither of us made any attempt to race again.

I figured it was one time deal and after loosing so bad infront of his girl he wouldn't try again.

Again we pull up to a light, no stalling this time, no stare down by the girlfriend so I thought nothing of it. However we just so happened to be at the intersection where my lane is slippery. Even revving upto 1800 RPM and slowly letting out the clutch results in a small chirp.

Anyways the light goes green and I make a little chirp and shift into 2nd at 3000 RPM. When I chirped I caught his girlfriends attention and I could hear his car downshift. It made the same old "im about to blow up" noise. I didn't even waste my gas on him, traffic has just pulled out infront of us and was not but 50 yards away. His girlfriend was starring at me as he slowly pulled away. Then feeling victorous the girlfriend stuck her arm out the window and wavied bye bye. The boyfriend then turned off into the cingular parking lot.

What the hell makes people do this????

I just crapped on this dudes neon, the girl saw it. And suddenly they both believe that if he tries really really hard then he'll beat my mighty honda.

I was so shocked I was 2 seconds away to follwoing them inside of cingular and making fun of the dumb bastard. Then I later decided against that cause it wasn't worth my time.
