This morning, on my way to school. I run into the neighbor. She asked me if I was from apartment 203. I said that I was, and she said that she has to talk to me about my car. So we walk down to my car, and she says that she hit me.
She hit me on the driver's side. The damage goes from the drivers side door, and back to the rear fender well.
Any of you guys have a recommendation for a body shop in or around the Northridge area? She said that she only has 200 bucks. I don't know what to do.

Rep Power: 416 ouch that sucks.. atleast she had the decency to tell you. a lot of people would have just left... i'd say get a quote and if anything just claim it with insurance. unless if she **** up with more than $200

damn sorry to hear that bro, ur lucki she told u tho. it's the worst feeling to go outside and just find ur car like that not knowing how who when. believe me, i know. but yeah, she knows shes at fault, so u should let her handle it. u shouldnt handle it, let her choose whether she wants to giv u cash or hand it over to her insurance company.

If you are in the 949 area check out Fabricante Auto body...they never use body filler, they will take the time to remove dings and stuff and do a great job.

hey i agree with dj02, we get a group buy on a paint shop. I know one shop, that a friend of mine went to, it's called Monkeywax or something like that, near downey. And they brought 8 cars and they all god a paint job for 800 bucks. . FULL BODY. Paint looks great, and hasn't chipped or worn since i always see his car. They did a A++ job.

Trini's Auto Body on Penrose and San Fernando in Sylmar I think it is. I got my door fixed, a new window, center console re-attached, and all instaleld for 200 bucks there. My door was dented too by the way.

Rep Power: 321 the group paint job thing...No good...bad idea, what one person thinks is a good deal the next person wont cuz he might not have the same kinda cash as the first....youll see...

Rep Power: 293 I went to another body shop today. And this shop quoted me $970. This shop seems alot better than the other shop I went to. When I think about it though, I don't care how much it costs because I'm not paying for it.
