I don't see why he couldn't do the alignment. The tie rod should still unscrew to adjust caster (I think!) and whatnot. Go get a second opinion.

I got my alignment done and the guys didn't even think twice about the fact that the tie rod was upside down. Go somewhere else, that guy doesn't know what he's talking about and you shouldn't trust him with your ride.

Hayames are designed that way, then I switched to B+G
Go to another shop, that guy doesnt know what he's talking about. I just installed my HAyames on Friday and got the alignment done for my car on Saturday and there were no issues. They have to loosen the main nut that the tie rod is adjusted to to adjust the pitch if your front wheels. That has nothing to do with which direction the tie rod is facing, because he doesn't have to unscrew the tierod bolt from the arm of the strut. I would go to another place, best thing to do is find an alignment shop that specializes in lowered vehicles so they get it done correctly and have experience in lowered cars.
Agreed, the direction the tie rod connects to the strut should not affect the adjustment of the alignment. There may be another reason why he can't align the car, but if he says it's because of that then go to another shop.

Hey bro, that is why your alignment was so throwed off when you brought your car by my house, anyway I recommend you go to brake check for your alignment, that is where I get mine, Darren is the one that does mine, and I wont trust my car to anyone but him to work on the suspension and brakes. He has been there for 15 yrs. If you want I can call them and ask if they will do your car, just hit me up and let me know.
