Has anyone tried to make an SRI into a cold air setup?

Since i havent sold mine I looked at it and wondered how i can convert it. Since the car is an auto they dont make one. Theres plenty of different tubings that could meander to a filter located in a cooler area than the filter sits with the current setup. Where exactly does the filter go on the AEM cold air unit? Could one hard mount the filter on a bracket there and snake a tube down to it? Do they make a filter small enough to fit between the battery and the fender where the stock unit pulls in air as an alternative?

Question

I have a blue AEM CAI at home, recently purchased on Ebay. It was missing the transmission bracket, and the instructions.
Since it's useless to me, without the bracket, and AEM refuses to sell me another, without the SPECIFIC part number; I can sell it to you for what I paid 2 weeks ago ($58).
You'll probably be making another tranny bracket anyway, so YOU won't need it. I can send you the DIY, with pretty color pictures, to help the install.
If interested, pm me. Otherwise, just consider me .
