Get a napa gold paper filter from Napa auto parts. It's one of the best replacements. I'm gonna start changing mine every year.

i replaced mine at 13500 with a honda oem. my filter was freakin spotless, i cant believe it. i live in central ct and do about 50/50 highway and city driving. not to mention i wont use honda oem after this, not impressed by their construction quality, the pleats were bent and spread out uneven

oh yea, what i mean by my reply is unless you are in a really dusty dirty area or live in a big city i wouldnt worry about it

Napa auto parts. They should have an online store I think. I posted the part # twice already, so try and search for that. If not, I'll post it again when I get home.

SMX is on a distinguished road
The quick way to see if you need a filter is look at the sun through it. If you can see daylight through your filter, no need to change it.

A good way to tell if you have a crap filter is hold it up to the sun. When you see holes in it, you know it's a K&N.
