Bad morning for mustangs
Well I was on my way to work this morning. I live in Grapevine and work in Downtown Ft. Worth. For those not from this area, the morning drive is about 30 minutes. So I take 121 south. The second I get on the highway I see a newly broken down newer body mustang. Smoke was coming out of it. Not two miles down the road I see another mustang of the same body style, that was just recently broken down. About 5 minutes later I see the another mustang and yes you guessed it same body style had been pulled over. So I am about 10 minutes from downtown. And I see a mid to late 90's mustang that had just recently broken down as well. Then I saw there was another mustang of the newer body style had plowed into a street lamp and the driver was on the side of the road on his cell phone. Man today must be a bad day for newer mustangs.

Damn, thats wierd. I drive 121 all the time, I work around Irving/Coppell.
I once saw a brand new Ford Taurus with dealer plates still on it turning with all this smoke started billowing out from his hood & it smelled awefull, the guy pulled over got out & man was he pissed. I feld bad for laughing...
one of the reasons is that GT drivers like to supercharge their engines. The modular 4.6 can handle a little more air, but when you get greedy and put an a thimble sized boost pulley, the number 7 cylinder always lets go for some reason, something about manifold design. Thats why the cobra is an iron block.
