Arrow If you have problems with your door lock, ask me.

Well I was going to post a DIY for removing the door lock actuator, thanks to AzNmikex215, but I have no pictures and will try it later. I did this project today and if anyone needs help figuring out how to fix there problem, just let me know. This is for people who cant use there remote because it only locks/unlocks one door and they have to use there key.

was it hard/time consuming? I having this problem right now with my driver's side door.

Sometimes it will lock/unlock without problem, other times it will get half-way down to lock or half-way up to unlock.

It's starting to **** me off........

No it is not time consuming. It took me 4 hours because I was trying to get off the wrong part. If it wasnt for that, it would have took me about 30 min. or so. Well J-cap and zen master, this saturday, hopefully my new door lock assembly will come and while I am doing the install, I am going to post a DIY while doing it. If you have any other specific questions, just let me know. JCAP, BTW, what you might want to do is pull your door panel off and check and make sure all your rods are connected. It sounds like something other than the actuator. Also test the actuator to see if you have power going to it.

for both of you, go outside and open your door that you are having problems with and put your ear close to the bottom right, the side where the 3 bolts are on the door and push the lock button and see if you can here your actuator?

Hey Jcap, did you ever take a look at your door or be able to figure out what was wrong with it? I have the exact same problem. Sometimes my driver door locks fine, and other times it gets stuck like half way and i need to use my key or push it. Let me know, thanks.
