I got a quote today for Koni Yellow shocks today. Quote includes installation.
$1250. Thats with gst and pst.

Does that sound reasonable? Im sure that I can negotiate the price a little, but does this sound right?

I posted here because I want a Canadian perspective.

im pretty sure their prices for konis, installed.. is cheaper than 1250.

you can always try and get lucky on ebay.. get it shipped, and have it install for 150, tops.

I got it done at Defcon Racing for $960... with labour and taxes in.

Got it done about a week ago... great guys. Even took the time out to explain a couple of things wrong with my car.

Highly recommanded.

yea thats too much as far as the quotes i got before i had mine installed...do not pay that much...Defcon, Speedtech...are both cheaper...

There was a group buy on Toronto Civics a month ago for Koni Yellows. $820 for 01+ Civics. I'd shop around.

Why not contact the people who ran the GB on TCC, they may be able to still offer you the GB price/close to it. Dont hurt to ask right? Good luck man!

for 960 installed at defcon.. that's pretty cheap as it is

if you bought it at 820, and then pay for installation... which is about 150bucks.

it'll come out to the same amount.

so, save yourself some time.. and just go to defcon, or speedtech... and get the konis... installed, at 960.

im also pretty sure for 960, it would be cash deal... if not, then you can prolly knock off another 20bucks or so.. if paid by cash.

Yep, spoke with Ming at defcon. Gettin them installed on July 6 (my Birthday) for $960 cash.

Hey Narc! How did the install go at Defcon? How does your ride feel now? Post a personal review on your setup. I'm still debating on which shocks to go with. Were your front shocks 50mm or 55mm?

There are only 2 choice on shocks, either tokico or koni. Koni will be a better set up if you look to race in the future. I just got my tokico and I will give a review on Hayame vs Tokico+H&R once I get my lazy *** to put them on haha.

are you taking into account that we use canadian dollars here in canada? some of the figures mentioned in here are quite comparable to yours after converting USD to CAD...
