Just make sure they blend in to the quarter pannles. and dont just paint where the H was, the whole decklid should get painted, along with the previously mentioned quarter pannle blending.

If they just paint the trunk, the colors May not match. if they do whats called a blend, they will fade the paint over part of the quarterpanels, making the color appear seamless. So even if the color is not matched 100% perfectly, with a color blend in to the quarterpannels, you wont be able to tell. This is at least how a good shop will do it.

ok so then i would have to pay to paint the quarter panels too?
if i'm understanding paint shops.. they will sand down the trunk and paint the whole thing... then sand down.. half? of the quarterpanels?. i'm going there on saturday, so maybe i'll ask them about blends.

where is Mr. modify when you need him..

on the blend, they dont sand it down as much, its ushually just a touch of color, and then re-apply the clear coat.

Doing things the right way is never cheep.
