just got an RSR ex mag exhaust system and when i put it on....its right against my bumper....i have a sedan with xenon kit...and my xenon rear didnt come with a cutout....im wondering if the exhaust tip on this exhaust will burn up my bumper....it actually looks like its in place and thats its made to be like that and looks good but its just against my bumper underneath..

Try some duct tape on the underside of the bumper. I've seen a few people do that and it seems to prevent any melting.

Can you post some pics? I'm thinking about getting the RSR in the future.... what do you mean your xenon back didnt come with a cut out?

i have the sedan xenon kit....and the rear for the sedan kit doesnt come with a cutout...thats what the guy who i bought it from told me when i emailed him back about the rear bumper..he said the coupe xenon rear comes with the cutout only...ill try to get some pics up later tonight...i took my rsr off until i get this problem solved....ill have some pics up later tonight to show u what it looks like with no cutout and the stock muffler....

i seen cars with a sheet of metal right above the tip and under the bumper. im guessing they cutted out themselves so it fits perfectly right under. dunno how it attaches to the bumper though, but im guessing double side tape/adhesive?

but wouldnt the sheet of metal get really hot too and maybe burn the paint up?

I thought the Xenon kit was identical for both the sedan and coupes? Is this what you mean.... your kit doesnt have that little cut out?

yes hustle....both of my sides are like ur left side in the picture u posted...i have no cutout....the place i got it from said that xenon made 2 rears....one for the coupe that has the cutout and one for the sedan which they didnt include the cutout for it...why they would do this...i really dont know....

You're gonna have to cut it out... its designed to hug the cutout in the stock bumper, which it does quite well. Even with the liner pipe inside the tip, it gets quite hot.

well my kit was painted about a month ago....if i do make a cutout..its not gonna make my paint start peeling or chipping away from where its cut will it?
