New Accord Coupe or Sedan?
Ok I hate my OZ lancer POS so i'm traiding it in on Saturday for an Accord. what should I get? me and my girl don't have kids, and only every once in a while do we have anyone in the back. so with that said what would you get out of those two? It's going to be a 5 speed LX, so 2 or 4 doors?

**** i wish i could get the v6 with the 6speed but i dont have that kind of money. i know someone who is getting me a brand new LX for $16,488, thats below invoice.
The coupe looks far better. I agree - who gives a **** about the ppl in the back.
I like the 6-speed. It has something few Hondas are rarely born with - torque. V-6 Accords are so purposely American.
It could handle better though (V6 models). My car would run circles around it.

Also, a 4 door will probably be easier to sell when the time comes.
The sedan will cost less to insure. It sucks that the # of doors are a deciding factor of how much a car owner will pay for insurance. The Civic coupe and sedan has the same interior space. The only difference is DX/LX and sedans offer the most headroom.
Get the coupe, and v6. If you dont have the money, you're going to hate it later. Either that or just get a rsx-s. Even the auto v6 is pretty sweet, my friend has a v6 auto sedan, but just wait and find a good deal on a v6 coupe (6 speed is sweet too). Dont rush into things, cause then you'll regret it

Also fuel economy is better for the 4 cylinder. I get as high as 30 mpg between fills in my normal commute. Anyone who drives a lot is probably better off with the 4.
The K24 is a great motor, and with gas prices the way they are, it may be a wise choice. I think the power of the K24 is fine for any situation unless you wanna race. If you opt for the auto trans, they all come with the 5spd AT which drives so much nicer than a 4spd AT. The coupe has a bit firmer suspension than the sedan, and the seating seems more sunken in and sporty. You also get a 3 spoke steering wheel in the coupe. You can't go wrong either way, but if don't have kids, I think the coupe has a little bit more fun to offer. One thing that bugs me on both sedan and coupe are the controls for radio and HVAC. It's not at all intuitive. Otherwise you can't go wrong with either.

Fuel economy is very good, I've seen as high as 30 mpg between fills in my commuting.
The main weak point of the accords is the stock handling is not very good. This can be largely fixed with the OE TL/CL rear sway bar, the parts cost $50 at the dealer and are a direct replacement.
