16" vs. 17" tires and suspension
16" vs. 17" tires and suspension
I have 205-55-16s.. and wanted to go 205-50-17s.. would the 'better' handling really be that noticeable? Would replacing both wheels and tires be worth the benefit?

Depends on how stiff the new tires side walls are. Example, I autocross on a set of 205/50-15 and drive on the street with a set of 215/45-17. and the Grip and stability of the 15s is MUCH more the the 17s, because of the design of the tire.
also, I think the perfromace loss in accleration, Braking and Increased unsprung weight that 17s will give you will offset any real Handling advantage.
