I can't get the heat shield bolts off. I already broke a socket, and now the bolts are starting to strip. Any ideas? I tried spraying with pb blaster, but it doesn't work. I even drove the car around to make them hot. Nothing.

If they are truley stripped, I would go the gorilla route and drive the car around again hard to heat everything up, bend the heat shield away from the bolts on the header and take the header and heat shield off as one piece. The bolts on the head may be difficult also. Make sure to only use proper sized sockets or the closed end of a wrech to break those free.
The spring bolts underneath should not be so bad.
