DIY shift boot for a/t...

does the DIY shift boot replacement in the DIY section of this site apply also to automatic transmission...ive seen a lot of automatic transmission cars on this site wit shift boots making it look manual transmission...it loox tiight, i would like to do it also..n it doesnt say in the DIY section wut is needed....just shift ****, n boot correct? i would like to do this...can someone post another DIY for auto transmission to make it easier for US a/t civics..??

the shift boot is the oem one you can get from honda that goes in cars with manual trans. i think the boot goes for 30 bucks .. and the shift **** u use is a razo a/t one here is a link to the shift ****

yeah i did it on mine except i kept the stock shift ***. I cut off the silver connector on the shift boot and twist tied it to the shifter on the underside....i am very pleased with its looks although i would still rather have a manual
