hey guys, i was told that you cannot install the msd ignition thingies on 7th gen civics. but i see some members have them on their rides... i was just wondering what is up with this product.

Its trure the distributor less ignition is kinda a pain as far as performance since we cant upgrade wires since we dont have any but there is a company that makes "performance" ignition coils for our cars

e-mail MSD...they will tell you that DIS ignitions will not work on our distributorless cars
and that a window switch will not work either.
I tried to get a window switch for my nitrous setup and MSD said that their stuff will not work
on 2001 and up 7th gens.

actually, the distributors for hondas in the past was there weak point, the distributorless is a great system, just not much in the aftermarket right now for our cars. the sr20's went to that system and the nsx's took it up a long time ago...just be patient with the coils
