Anyone have the Revo SS on an 03 EX?
Or 04 I guess..or any model that came with an armrest. Doesn't the armrest kinda get in the way of the shifter? I kind of already have to reach over the armrest to shift...but maybe it's the way I sit. Anyone have it with an armrest, and is it alright?

www.tornactive.com - revo ss shifter
PM capyoda on this site for bushings
PM Grey on this site for upgraded shift clips

Revo SS rocks, get it, get Grey's kit, and get some metal bushings. While your at it, get a new shift ****, I recommend the base RSK ****. That setup owns, of course that is what I have so I am biased.

this is my revo ss and momo air ****!
i have all the upgrades for it. i got them all at once so i cant give you the honest difference but,
i love it. greys kit is like 6$ capyodas is 10-15$ but he was out so i got one on ebay from alluminumbushings.com (<<they know each other i think) for 20$ the revo i got from hondawerx for 97$ shipped to my door very fast
..and all that together =some sweet *** shifting. the response is next to none.
i also decided to use litheum grease instead of what they provided. that was like 6$
for some crazy reason it all arivved on the same day too, the first time that has ever happened to me. the best thing about doing all the upgrades at once is i dont have to take the console and shifter apart more than once.
how hard is it to install this, and for my second n00b question(new to cars still), what does having a short shifter help and what would i notice?also curious as to what the upgrades do what what happens if i dont switch to them?
thanks
thanks
It essentially makes you go faster, because there is less lag between changing gears. The short shifter is like half (well almost) the length of the stock shifter, just think how much faster it is to go from 1-2, and so on.
I have a question....I'm about to order my SS short shifter....just wondering where can i get the Grey's upgrade kit and Cap Yoda's bushings so i dont have to take the whole thing apart like 3 times.
Very worth it.....my g/f has a 2004 and i have a 2003....she just got hers...and drove mine for the 1st time last night...she liked the shift sooo much more she orderd one today but is not going to go with the bushings and such until she sees the difference between mine and hers.....
as for the install....VERY simple.....i think i was one of the 1st to do the install without the VERY HELPFUL DIY.......i got all the screws out but the ones hidden in the actual box......those i pulled out with brute force....including that time it only took me 2 hrs......i did one for my friend last mth and took 30 mins. just take ur time and make sure u are doing it right!
I LOVE THE SET UP THOUGH....it was my 1st mod and i would reccomend it as a 1st to anyone!
