finished my rear cabin false floor project *NEW PICS*
it took 3.5 hours and $25.00, but i got it all done. its too dark now to take pics, but i will have them tomorrow evening for you all. it was everything i had planned it to be and then some.
basically its a false floor of the rear, carpeted with black marine carpet, and a plexi window to see the amp below. the rockford fosgate amps have a LED-lit design that is provides a nice little glow. the funny part is..if poeple DO sit in the rear seat...their knees are pretty high. i can't imagine if anyone had to sit back there for a long road trip. anyways...pics tomorrow.

I like it man, i was thinking about doing something similar but with 2 xtant amps i am afraid that they would be gone real quick.
U know what might be a good idea.....build a cut out of carpeted material to go over the window, and keep it in the car that way if u go to a place for an extended amount of time you can throw that puppy over and wahla.....no amp can be seen!
Mounting an amp within the cabin would be a great idea, but very tricky.....b/c if i am correct it would have to either have a box (lots of space) or being mounted free air which still takes a lot of room (due to the size of the magnet and depth of the speaker!
