yea get a optima yellow top battery, or its equivelant. most people that have Caps claim that their lights still dim when the bass hits. honda gave civics small alternators and batteries cus its an economy car and not intended to have huge subs and powerful ICE. i suggest u get a battery. thats what i will be doing when i have money for it.

a battery is a good place to start, possibly the best. get a higher output battery, which is pretty much anything over stock. if that doesn't get the dimming level to a comfortableplace, then an alternator would be the next route to go. a lot of people have a big misconception about caps. they aren't gonna do much in the way of preventing your lights from dimming. i hate them, and will more than likely never use one again.

syndrome is an unknown quantity at this point
Grounding kit fixed it for me no problem, look into installing one if you're just trying to get rid of dimming, you might even notice some of the fabled yet true enhancements.
