Having some weird problems

Today I started working on my car in hopes of eliminating some noise from my system. All I did was to try to find a better ground for my Head Unit. Yhis didn't help so I disconected the power connector from the head unit and tried to move my head unit to the hatch to test and see if it was a problem with the head unit wiring but when I re-connected the head unit to the power connector I got no power, so I check the fuses for the head unit and it is fine. Then I notice my power door locks are only working when I have the ignition on so I check the fuse for it which is fine. I try the factory headunit just for the hell of it and it has no power either. I probe the wiring harness and the 12 volt + wire has no power at the connector, all of the other wires that should have power do. I am stumped on what could be wrong unless there is some other fuse I am missing that can cause this problem. The only other aftermarket thing I have installed besides stereo is a Clifford GR (Concept 550) alarm. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Check all your fuses...including the ones under the hood. One labeled "backup" may be the culprit.
