alpine type s sub question

alpine type s sub question i just got my alpine type s subs and i was looking at them an the way that the wires connect to the subs is different than my previous set up. i think that there is some hole that i have to stick the wire into but it is being a pain in the *** to connect right, so i don't know if that's it. if anyone could help me it would be appreciated
