FP suspension kit?
FP suspension kit?
I found out yesterday that the FP Civic was also dropped with a sport suspension.
How much it was lowered I was not sure of nor any other specifics. But there are two Honda dealerships in my state that are also a tire center so they can do the work. My reason for doing it from them with the FP kit would be that it wouldn't kill my warranty since I have 7yr. 100,000 mile bumper to bumper. Anyone know about this kist.

eh i know its not worth it...
its only about a 1.3" drop if that. i think it runs around like 1200 or so. well you cant even buy it by part, you had to have bought it with the car so ya might have a hard time finding it. I personally dont think its worth it.
you can get teins or kws for 1200 and they're adjustable.
warranty... when you lower your car, only warranty you void is the suspension warranty basically. not much else so i wouldnt really worry about it.

oh btw.. if you search you should be able to find more detailed info... this has been discussed a couple times before.(i'm leaving this open cause its been awhile). but ya i forgot the exact specs so if you search you should be able to find it...
Eventually I will get 17s with a 45 series profile and the Tsunami kit. I am not lookin to go more than 1" drop anyways. 2" is too much around here, unless I want to parallel park everywhere on the street and never pull into driveways or parking lots or go over the speed bumps in my bank. In NE, especially CT, the roads are'nt smooth glass.

Some dealers if they perform the install of after market parts will keep the warranty intact. For instance my dealer told me if I let them lower my car I wont void my warranty. Maybe call your dealer and ask them if they do this also. Get it in writing if they do.

but ya whether a 1" drop is fine or not, i still dont think its worth it for something that isnt adjustable... hell i rather get mugens in that case... why spend $1200 on a oem suspension that isnt adjustable when you can get one that height AND damper adjustable for the same...
