Infinity Speaker Fitment...????

Will the INFINITY REFERENCE 6000CS 6 1/2" COMPONENT SPEAKERS fit in my doors and in my tweeter spot in my EX?

and

Will the Infinity Kappa 692.5i (6x9s) fit well in the rear....?

I want to buy components for the front that do not need much modification to fit... and good speakers for the back so i can actually hear my music once i get my subs in... i am going to buy a 4 channel amp eventually for these speakers... but how do you think they will sound thanks

Ahh, the Infinity question yet again. Finally, somebody did their research.
The 6000cs and 692.5i should fit without modification. They're a shallow mount setup rather than the Kappas with their huge magnet structure.
Looking at the pic below, I would guess that the tweeters are small enough to fit in your sail panels. They may require a little modding to mount, but they should fit.
Infinitys always get high recommendations, so they should sound great. I'm considering the same setup for my car eventually. If you haven't been to Ikesound yet, check out these links. They're one of the cheapest vendors online that sells Infinity stuff.
6000cs components $105
692.5i 6x9 $98.10

Other stores:
Discount Jungle 6000cs $98.90
Buy electro.com 692.5i $99.94

the 6000cs need spacers, half inch is too small and 1" is too big...if yer up for it, make .75" outta wood, or use the 1" and leave the bottom part of the door panel not connected.

and they sound awesome, the highs and mid are crystal clear...but they need a sub to make up for lack of thump

The Kappas are huge and simply way too big. The 693.5i for example is 3 11/16", where the stock spec is 3 7/16". It hits the springs and using a spacer up top would keep the rear deck from going back on. If you already have a sub, a set of good 6.5"s in the back do the job nicely with a 6x9 to 6.5 adapter.

You will need an adapter to mount the speaker onto, plus drill a few holes to mount that. The specs are close, but the adapter should also serve as a spacer to keep the speaker from hitting the window. The mounting depth is 2", and the 6000cs is 1 15/16".
Click the sounddomain link below to order a spacer or to look at one.

what speaker size is the sail tweeter in our cars? I want to upgrade that. I have Alpine's in the doors, and am either going to build custom fiberglass kick-panel enclosures for those, or (if they will fit) build kick-panel enclosures for my 8" subwoofers. Either way, I want to upgrade the stock tweets, and the location is perfect. I just need to know what size (and what brands I can get just the tweeter in).

I can't say for sure, since I have the DX. I mounted some Pioneers in the doors in front of the door handle...works great for me.
