Exclamation hey guys help me out here PLEASE!

alright well ya'll know i've been talkin about rollin around lookin stock and how i hate it well... i had told everyone to give me $$$ for christmas so i can get some new rims and tires, and what i want is som 17" Enkei DM5's and Yokohama tires. well i think he was actually gonna get them for me until.... he read in his bible the magazine consumer report that the tires are more likely to hydro plane and some other bs, but i think that is stupid cause so many people upgrade to plus size and even cars are comin outta the factory rollin on 17's and what not. can ya'll help me out to find some sources that say other wise. my cousin greg, a certified mechanic, was even tellin him they are better to have and himself put bigger tires on his wife's car because the braking and handling were better on it and you know what it is? a damn 01 ssm vic sedan! and when i was like well what about greg and dad was like oh he ain't ****! **** my cousin greg is the best damn mechanic and autobody man in this area and he knows his ****. he fabricated his own manifold for his car and did a custom turbo setup on his old vic when he was in highschool, he's 24 now. well anyway please help me out cause my dad really pissed me off when he did all this goin by only 1 source of info!
