Yah got a few questions.....hope someone can help me out!

Someone is selling me there invidia cat back system. Only problem is that the mid-pipe is damaged..and will have to be replaced. the pipe size is 60mm or 2 1/3"

After research i believe that the stock exhaust systems on an ex is appx 50mm? RIGHT?

i am wondering

a. if i can bolt on the rear section to the stock piping.
b. How much it would cost to get a new midpipe made?
c. Deal worth it for $250 (piece with the resonator on it and the axle back)
d. Should i buy the piece from invidia (130) or can i find it cheaper somewhere else?!?

Thanks i need to tell the guy whats going on sometime late tonight.....so any help would be of great appreciation!

To answer your questions:

a. no it will not bolt up to your stock midpipe
b. it would cost around $200 for a nice manderal bent midpipe from a shop
c. depends on the condition of the exhaust. If the midpipe is damaged, what condition is the muffler in?
d. if you do end up getting it, get the midpipe from invidia.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it off the guy for that price. 250+130 = $380 . I think you can get a brand new one for about $450 maybe even less.

R1style.....thank you very much for clearing some of my questions up....i was tlaking to one of my friends today and he said the same thing.....about the quality of the rest is the midpipe was all messed up. Thanks a ton!
