Question Due for Service (oil change)

Hey guys I am coming up on 28,000kms and I am due to go in for an oil change. Is there anything else that I should do at this stage, such as servicing the brakes or anything? What oil do you recommend... considering the mileage and the time of year (with winter and colder weather soon approaching)? Do you think synthetic actually makes a difference and is it worth considering? How much more would it be?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

When i asked Acura about what my TYPE C service (recommended at that milage) they said they check the brakes, rotate the tires, check and top up fluids, lube hinges and locks, and change oil.
I have aftermarket directional tires, I check all my fluids myself, and lubed my hinges and doors myself. I had my baby brother change my oil for me. I DID however have them check my brakes and fix my rocking seat bushings.
As for oil, I just changed to Motul 8100 a couple weeks ago. The car runs like a dream. Worth every penny IMO.

Same here I'm at 28500miles, just changed my oil yesterday. I need to go by my friends shop to get my hinges and joints greased. Is there any other maintance required, like changing the fuel filter, changing your gear oil, or a radiator flush??

Anyone go to the dealer to get this done?
