Ok, I want to make my manual door locks in my DX Civic auto locks. So there is the kit and bla bla bla. MY QUESTION, SINCE DX MODELS SOMETIMES COME WITH A FACTORY ALARM IGNITION KILL SYSTEM, WILL THIS INTERFEAR WITH ADDING AN ALARM DOWN THE ROAD TO MY AUTO LOCKS? OK, IF SO COULD I JUST GO TO HONDA AND ASK FOR THEM TO TAKE IT OUT? Or are things more complicating then that? Sorry about the whole caps thing.
Thanks for the help guys

click my sig. anything you do to add power locks to your car will not interfere with the starter kill, infact, the immobilizer simply cuts off the ignition system and this will not interfere even with an aftermarket alarm, unless you choose to add remote start, at which point you would need an immobilizer bypass.
Yay I got power doorlocks installed! Cost me $100, but I like the results. It didn't come out like I thought it would have.
Both do not lock unlock at the same time when I use my key or from inside the car. But it works with my alarm. So when I arm/disarm the alarm they lock/unlock at the same time.
All I need now are rear sedan door handles, so I can get rid of those unsightly key holes.
BTW:
I think that Skip's DIY is the best and simplest. I would have done it his way if not for wanting the doors to lock/unlock with the alarm.
I bought a "Tesor - Central Power Door Locking System" for $40 shipped off of eBay. But if I cant install it myself, then I just let it sit around until I do something about it.
If you do want to buy a kit from eBay, search for " power doorlocks ". Most kits are universal.
