I was still trying to solve the idle drop problem last night, I tried to slightly tap or knock the IAC valve with a screw driver the I heard a minute pinging sound probably created by a spring. Its a pinging sound you could barely hear except if you really put your ear really close to the object.

My question is, is this natural? has anyone tried doing this?

I believe there is a loose part inside the IAC valve thats why my car has been doing very low idles and stalling.
