Did you do this while your door was open?
The problems you described happens when you have the drivers door open. Its so you don't lock yourself out.
If not, then I have no clue.

does anyone have the schematics for the keyless entry, alarm and also the power door locks for our cars. The honda dealership said that since I have some mods inside of my car it is going to cost me $215 dollars just to diagnose the problem

honda's factory alarm system uses a negative contact locking mechanism as in if its not closed it will not lock unless you do it manually. The problem seems to be a controller issue which I had on mine at first but was replaced by warranty . Regardless of mods it should not cost you unless you modified the alarm system itself.
