Catback Exhuast Problem
Hey guyz, I got my Tanabe Super Racing Medallion a couple weeks ago and the install went great and the sound is awesome.
Im having problems now though. The past week or so I have been getting the loud screetch, almost whistle noise, and it sounds like its coming from the midpipe area. Not sure caues it only does it while driving. I have gotten back under the car twice to make sure its all tightened down, which it is. When I brake, it goes away...
Now Im getting a funny noise in reverse also, but no the scratch/whistle noise.
ANY SUGGESTIONS? Its driving me insane and makes my car sound awful.

What the heck ... ?
Brake pads have wear indicators that squeal during braking when your pads get too low.
How is it that NOT hearing any sounds during braking is a sign that your brakes are going?

chirp clips squeal when you drive, so you know they go bad. They start squealing when you brake after it starts getting really bad ... until then, you'll hear it for a couple hundred miles only when you're driving

have someone outside your car while you slowly roll back in your driveway or down your street, if they hear it comming from one of you rfront tires, then it definitley is your brakes, otherwise, have it looked at

Well, a local shop (that "sponsors" my car club) is going to inspect it tomorrow and try to figure out the problme. So far everybody is thinking its brakes. Ill update on what happens after tomorrow.
