they make koni yellow struts? do you mean the shocks? if so i never heard of that i was actually thinking about getting those to!!
I dunno how else to describe it... Anyone else have Koni yellows installed on an 02 civic coupe? It's only the rear suspension too... this is frustrating. I figger if it's a normal noise that comes with 'lowering' that it would be all over....
How much did you guys pay for your Koni yellows?
i have yellow koni stocks installed, it was great, and they are fine, without making any noise...
I pay $1500 Canadian dollars, tax in, with yellow koni shocks, neuspeed race spring and installation. I think the koni is about $1000 CAD, and it was a good deal from my point of view

I got the koni's from Group Buy Center for 500 shipped. I put them in myself and it's pretty much a pain in the ***. The rears are no problem, but the fronts need modification. You have to cut and gut the front strut housing and internals. You will need some time, but WELL worth the effort. Cornering is amazing with these.

what happens with the rear camber kit is alot of people tighten the inside bolt with the rear of the car in the air. This is wrong, once you put you car down the bushing inside gets loaded and twisted, ( not drunk and hammered
) thus it brakes loose on the inside and moves when your rear suspension moves. What you are hearing is a rubber bushing moving when it should not. You are supposed to preload the suspension by putting a jack under the drum and getting it to the ride hieght, then tighten.

there is no replacing the bushing but you can try loosening that bolt and then thightening i up the proper way and see if that makes a difference.
I did see somewhere an official honda recall about the 02 civic and problems with the rear trailing arm bushing. Is this the bushing you're referring to? are you sure it can't be replaced? hmmm.. thanks for all the info tho..

the bushing i am talking about is on the rear upper arm. this arm is the piece that is replaced with a camber kit. So not oem honda but whatever brand camber kit you have.
if re-doing the rear camber install doesn't work, what are my options? I still have the original arm I think... what about installing a diff brand? Is there a brand that works/fits well with the 02 civic?
