about 2 hrs after having my fipk II installed, i hear a creak immediately after i start my car each time and sometimes when i release the cluth or if i purposely make the car jerk in 1st gear(drive in first, take my foot off the gas then hit it again, and u know how the car jerks on a 5spd) i took it to honda and they said i have to remove my fipk II, x brace and neuspeed strut bar then bring it in, they said if they find out that it caused the problem they r gonna charge me all the hours they spent identifying the problem. has anybody had this problem, i dont think its the x brace cuase i made sure again that it was tightented to 76 ft lbs and it was, i dunno what to do.

Could the intake be rubbing on the strut bar in any way? Or maybe the side of the engine bay?

i had the exact same problem!,.. but it's not really a gig deal,... under your fifk heat sheild it's rubbing against the oem filter mount,... you can take that off!!,.. but you have to take your heat sheild off first before you can access it,........ i'm pretty sure this is where the noise is coming from!!!,... good luck!!!!!,......

yes i have this same problem the creaking sounds like a wet finger running up and down a window. i have an auto and i get the creak everytime i hit the gas and let off of it.

flipfinesse what does this mount look like that your talking about? my heat shield clears everything by around 1 inch.
