THE CREAKING OH GOD MAKE IT STOP!!

Hey guys, as the thread says, this problem is annoying. I installed a camber kit front and rear on saturday and since then the alignment is a lot better after lowering the car. BUT the rear struts or pivots or whatever is creaking ALL the time. It's especially noisy when I go over bumps. Weird thing is the fronts do not squeak or creak whatsoever. I greased the nuts and bushings of the rear swaybar, and the linkage plates of the camber kit using a high pressure aerosol automotive grease I bought from Canadian Tire. It still creaks and squeaks etc.

I'm asking any of you who has installed a camber kit all around or rear only have the same problems? This is really bothering me and any input would be greatly appreciated guys and gals

could be the progressive part of your rear springs...they would make a sound when u go over bumps when they hit each other...

so if that is ur problem u can fix it by wrapping the springs with rubber from the oem springs

did you get rubber or plastic bushings on the camber kit?
a lot of people get the squeeking from the plastic, because they aren't greased enough...

where did you get the camber kit and how much??
i need one in the rear!!

WD40 on the entire spring/strut assembly..? just reach behind the wheel and apply like crazy... works for some people...

mine was $380 for front and rears including install

draven: isn't wd40 a degreaser? it wont stay on for long compared to grease right? i dunno.

where can i get those rubber boot things for the springs? are they hard to get installed and how much are they?

Of course you'll have to take off the springs to do it that way... Otherwise, WD40 spray away, baby. Of course, if you can find spray grease, that'll work.

ok, thanks a lot for all the help, everyone. I am going to try what MSoft recommended. I do have spray grease, so I will try spraying it on the springs... hopefully that should help.

Again, Thanks!
