Map Sensor Screw...
The screw that holds in the MAP sensor to the intake manifold siezed, and now it wont come out. Don't ask why i need to replace it... its a long story. I thought it was b/c its a steel screw going into aluminum, but upon closer inspection it's going into the plastic manifold. I have no idea why it's so hard to get out. I tried soaking it down w/ WD-40, Vice grips, etc. and it won't budge. I'm all out of ideas... u guyz got any??
BTW- sorry for not having pics, but it's to the right of the throttle body, and it looks like a small black square w/ a silver sticker on it that says "Denso MAP sensor Assy." I bought a new sensor already, and there's an aluminum washer installed in the sensor itself. Could this be the problem??? Why would it sieze if there's no grounding point from the chassis or anywhere touching it?

We had to use vice grips and pull on it but w/out stripping the threads, everything seems to rust so quickly on our cars, mine is only 2 years old! After we just put in another screw that was the same type.
do you mean you stripped the screw head? because if you did, there's a tool that has a phillips head tip and you put it ontop of the stripped head and hit it with a hammer and while hitting it, it will unscrew the screw, and fix the head.
Now if it's seized.... eeek. easy out/bolt extractor/screw extractor/ tap and die... go to sears...
