the one i have has a removable hd that you can connect to your computer via usb or connect an antenna to the unit and use a wireless router and transfer files wirelessly.

Heh, one of my coworkers asked our Alpine rep this question, but I guess green is their company color, and they will never ged rid of it... Funny trhough how the more you pay for their hus, you can bet them in the Blue in Silver color Maybe its just a selling tactic to sell more expensive decks, offer the cool colors at the top of the line

Yeah Green is Alpine's founding color and you will probably never see go away but trust me you'll see some blue in the future.

Well, it really depends on the bitrate. When the Aliine and Rockford reps were pitching their respective Hard Drive Head Units to us, they all boasted the ability to put hundreds of hours worth of music onto them. However, after a few simple questions and simple math, they admitted that that would be at a horrible low bitrate.

I generally use only 192 and above. Right now on one of my drives I have 2,071 songs totaling just over 13 Gigs...
