Exclamation Attention ALL Injen CAI Owners!!

I started this thread to ask all the injen race division intake owners. What tool did you use to cut out the metal piece where the filter goes? And HOW did you guys use that tool to cut out the trim? Thanks!

What metal piece are you talking about? I have the Injen CAI as well, but I didn't open it yet. Have any pics of the piece you're talking about? The only metal piece I can think of near the filter is the one that bolts to the car.

Just a little swivel saw will do the trick. That's to make the gap a little more wider. That was the only snag I ran into.

You do not need to cut the metal! Just cut the plastic tirewell. Personally I would cut plastic over metal on my car any day.

you dont cut the metal piece, you cut the plastic piece around it, and that 3M rubber tape **** they give you, you put that on the pipe to keep it from touching the metal
