question about customs
hey everyone. i have a question about customs. i own a 93.5 toyota supra that is right hand drive. im in the military so i bought it when i was over in korea not to long ago. my problem is that when i shipped it over to the US it did not have an emissions test done to it prior. so customs said that there is no way that it would clear. also they want me to convert it to a left hand drive as well as $15,000.00 in other modifications, such as replacing headlight, seatbelts, seats, mirrors, ect... A few days ago i was told that there is a way that i can buy a exhibition liscense or show liscense, and that it would then be able to pass thru customs. but i could ONLY use it for show not on the streets
. so my question is does anyone know where i can purchase this type of liscense and how much do they run. because if not then my only other option is to surrender it to the government. any help would be much appriciated.
