need help fighting ticket

i got a parking ticket this morning, came to work at 6am according to my watch. there is a sign that says no parking 2-6am. i walk in my building, go upstairs and glance at my car, there is someone parked next to me. So i thought crap someone is trying to break into my car (there was an unmarked car and some person shining a flashlight in the car). I run back down ready to bust someone up and i finally see on her shirt its the police. im like is there a problem here? she says yea there is no parking. Im like oh? its after 6. She says nope according to me its not. and the ticket says 5:58:35 wtf can you give a ticket for less than two minutes away? I am fighting it obviously because this has never happened and she was just being a *****. so i asked to see if her time device was calibrated and linked to the atomic clock because for all i know her timer was wrong. and i know my watch isnt fast.

all i could do so far is file a complaint and wait to see what they say. if they deny, im going to court. i put in the report i would like to see the calibration records for her time keeper. unless it matches the atomic clock in colorado, i aint paying. i have even payed meter tickets where i came 2 minutes late because according to my watch, it was really 2 minutes late. but if my own clock says 6am thats whats right. im very exact with my car clock.

how much is the ticket for? normally they are like 10 bux.... dont fight it cause your gonna pay a crap load on court costs and plus its not a moving violation and wont go on your record.

ya its $10. im not spending more money, but if i can fight it free i will. im still waiting to see what they say. this is such crap tho if they are giving tickets in a less than 2 minute window they better have a damn good way of keeping time. and i still believe my clock is accurate. i checked it with the real time and they matched within a minute. should i be required to get a satellite link for my car so i always have the exact time? but even then there is no guarantee because their watch could be a few minutes slow.

i know its too bad. now im just gonna have to wait extra time so this doesnt happen anymore. the parking people are a lil too crazy around here. they will wait by a meter if its expring and write the ticket just as it turns 0.

Dude I'd be screwed if the cops in Oregon were like that. I've passed cops doing 10+ mph over the speed limit and they don't even care.

im not even gonna deal with that. everytime i goto chicago on 57 i put the cruise at 64, and hey its better gas mileage than speeding anyway.

Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
you dont neeed togo to court for a parking ticket, all you do is write a letter at the parking violation center and they look over it like one or two weeks and reply saying you lost and need to pay otherwise they will let u off.
