what is this special note from eye doctor to legally have tint?
law is that in california, you cannot have any tint applied on any of your front windows (windshield, driver window, passenger window) exempt a banner on the top of the front windshield. i have been hearing about this "doctors note" that you show the officer if he pulls you over for 'illegal' tint. what is this and how can i obtain it? is it run thru the system or is it personal as if the doctor just writes a note for you stating your eyes suck and need tint to avoid harm?
if its not one of those run-thru systems (offical governmental document work), would kazier or any other eye doctor in town be able to help me out on this?
how does this process work?
(yeah, what im asking is illegal to do if i dont have any real special needs, but im only looking forward to 35% up front, no windshield) which isnt that dark

Here is the Alabama waiver application. I had to call the Alabama department of public safety to get my application.

It's blurry so here's the important parts.
The legal limit of 32% will reduce ultraviolet rays 99%, glare reduction 43%, and solar heat reduction 37%.
Does the medical condition warrant window tint exceeding 32%, the legal limit?
If yes, list condition.

To receive a waiver for tint on your fornt windshield, you have to prove to the courts that you have a certified medical condition/disability which requires you to have this tint. For starters you have to receive that paperwork from a MD certifying that you need additional tint on your front windshield due to light sensativity purposes. Unless you best friend or relative is a MD, chances are you don't stand a chance of getting this approved.
