I received a ticket of $110 for having clear turning bulbs on the front of my car. The damn signals are noticeable from over 40 feet or whatever the law says...

From what I've read in the HTA, I feel that I am not at fault for having made the modification.

I'VE GOT A COURTDATE TO FIGHT THE POLICE OFFICER'S DISCRETION.

AND I NEED A LIST.... Can you help me?

I've seen it before but never thought of making note of it... I need a list of cars that come stock with clear turning signals so that I can throw it in their faces!!!

you could just say you didnt know they were illegal... and get amber bulbs and take a picture of them in... they should drop the charge if you do that

if you need the bulb, the bulb on the SiR is what i used (Respect to Jer2k)... but double check to make sure it fits on your car. beware, the ppl at the dealership told me it wouldnt fit and it fits and functions properly.

thats interesting. does the law say any color from white to orange? Usually the only illegal thing is no orange reflector. Clear bulbs are brighter than the orange color ones.

actually Si/SiR bulbs dont fit sedan T20 sockets properly. little modification to make it fit. from what i've seen, every car has an amber turn signal. therefore, you have to have an amber turn signal. i'm going to be using the blacked out headlights from robear that have no reflectors, raybrig 7443 amber bulbs, and a stick on amber reflector which i will put on my bumper so that everything is legal.
