LE discrimination okay, i go to the races pretty often and i have started to notice one single trend over the last year. imo, one year ago, the races were pimp but there were hardly any hispanics racing. cops didn't fvck with us too much. but now, a lot of hispanics started going to the meets and guess who always shows up and bust ppl up, the cops. back when it was mostly white/black/asian/some hispanic suburban kids and what not, they scare us off or write some tickets."no jail time". now, they take ppl to jail like its nothing.
to cap it all off, it has since become cold and most hispanics stopped showing up cuz of cops and the weather, the cops have reverted to just scaring us off. even yesterday a police helicopter just spotlighted us and then left. a unit came by like 15minutes later but he didn't do **** to us. we just leave.
edit- i am not hispanic but it is pretty obvious whats happening since alot of hispanics get pulled over compared to the other kids,

Its the whole illegal racing thing. Police support the races here (LEGAL RACES). The fastest car at SCO night, is a 10 sec police car. I believe it broke into 9's before as well. Thats what he means by dont drive like a douchebag. Dont speed or drive like one, you cant get pulled over for nothing. Unless you are black in a nice car in a nice neighborhood bumping rap. Police do seem to go more toward the hispanic when they want to make an arrest, but street racing is stupid period. You should all go to jail even for supporting by watching it. FAST AND THE FURIOUS!

Rep Power: 0 The night I came home with my new Honda I had to drive about 130 miles from the dealer, I saved $2,000.00 by driving up there. on my way home this pack of older civics, acuras, and nissans came up really fast, slowed down to check out my car then took off. IMO they were probably street racers, If the cops saw them at least one of them would have been pulled over, just be smart. I like my car it looks great gets good mileage, and is fun to customize, just don't do stuff to draw too much attention.

Rep Power: 0 By federal law we need reasonable suspicion to pull someone over...but its not hard to find that if you follow someone for long enough.
It comes down to this: We know illegal racing is gonna happen. But when it starts bothering the people that live near it and have nothing to do with it AND/OR killing people...thats when we care. Its the people that do burn-outs and drive like asses that will make police pay more attention. Speaking for my agency, there is no racial prejudice...a ticket is still a ticket if you are white, black, hispanic, asian, indian. etc....
