2 Counts!!
Damn, I just got pulled over by the university police for 2 counts of stop sign violations. What do I do now? I just want to go to court and pay the fine and go to traffic school, without my parents knowing. Is it possible?
By going to traffic school, do both counts of stop sign violations get erased?

Yeah that sucks, I am not sure if you can get away without your parents knowing or not, if they see anything to do with your car on paper like the insurance then they will no doubt find out.

Will they still find out even if I go to traffic school? Traffic school will erase it wouldn't it?
Also, would the traffic school erase both counts of violations or just one?

traffic school in most places takes it off your record but as far as both i dont know, thats handled through your local court. best thing to do is call the court system which your ticket is assigned.

My car is totally under my parents name and pretty much has been for the past few years. My name isnt on the policy and ive gotten tickets and ive never seen an increase or anything from the insurance company. I dont know how it works if your on the policy.

sometimes the insurance company finds out about the minor moving violations, sometimes they dont. it took them 2 years to find out i had a speeding ticket when i was 16.

I found a link called www.ticketassassin.com and they say that you can fight the ticket and improve your chances of winning. Here is what they say:
1.) First court appearance: plead not guilty
2.) Then request a trial by written declaration and send it to the court within the next assigned court date.
3.) Doing this will increase your chances of winning than actually appearing in court.
I don't know if this will work...
you need to find out if where the stopsigns were are on public or private property. if they are on private property, you cannot be ticketed (well, you might GET the ticket, but you can get out of it). that goes for almost ALL parking lots (where most people run stopsigns anyway), because those are privatly owned properties. if you were on public property, then.....gl w/ it man, i dunno what to tell ya.

traffic school is where you learn how to drive and get to the point where you can get your drivers license. Defensive driving is where you take a 6 hour class either at a building, on-line or by video to get a ticket dismissed or to lower your insurance. You could try the ticketassasin, but you need to be prepared and know what to say. Just do defensive driving, it is really easy.

i don't know......it really depends on if the school is considered private or public property, not so much about the autority that security has there. also.....if it was two different cops that each wrote you two separate tickets for the same sign, they can't do that, so you could prolly get outta at least one, maybe both of them. that rarely happens though, so you're prolly outta luck w/ going that way. either way, keep us posted on this, and maybe we can come up w/ something.....i don't know much else to tell ya though, as i've never gotten a ticket.....yet.....lol...either way....too bad dude.....gl w/ it all! ps...... why were you running stop signs to begin w/? lol.....oh...that makes me think though.....how far apart were they? cuz like, was he just following you for a ways b4 he pulled you over, or did he just cruise up and pull ya over?

I assume it's private property because it's a private school. It was 3 AM in the morning when I got pulled over. The parking lot was completely empty, no cars no pedestrians. I never expected to be pulled over. The 2 stop signs were not very far apart. When i pulled into a parking spot, that's when I saw the siren lights. He just cruised up to me when I already parked. I was speeding too, but he let me go on that. I just got 2 counts for stop sign violations.
i'm really not sure man.....school might be a different story compared to like...shopping centers and stuff like that. i would go to court and fight it though.....who knows, maybe he won't show up and you'll get lucky!
