running stop sign ticket
running stop sign ticket
i just received another running stop sign ticket last night after gettting one deferred. what r my options for dealing with this ticket if i am still on probation from the last one. i remember stopping for the sign but the cops said that i just rolled right through. thats a load of crap. neways i am goina go talk to my attorney today and c what he says. what do u guys think r my options.
In CA, the violation is 22450 a VC - stop at limit line, crosswalk or entrance to an intersection. So technically if the officer observed you roll thru, it's up to his discretion whether he gives you the ticket or not. You must come to a complete stop behind the limit line.

i look at stop signs as a recommendation, not somethin ya have to do... kinda like speeding and all the other illegal stuff. just hit your breaks enough to make the car jerk, you're technically stopping then. the time between moving forward, and the backward jerk your momentum is totally stopped.. close enough to get by with anyway
