Improper Disposal of Waste
Ok, well this has absolutely nothing to do with cars haha. My buddy went out to the bar last night and I guess he got a $115 ticket for taking a **** in a public place. Of course I know he shouldn't have done this but he is super pissed about it and thinks it's ridiculous. I'm just wondering what will happen if he doesn't pay it?
Isn't there usually somewhere on the ticket for the offender to sign, in my experience's with seeing people get tickets(I've never had one, thank god) they've always had to sign it. Is there any loopholes that I might find on the ticket?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you

If the ticket is a civil one then you can refuse to sign but if you're looking at a misdemeanor or felony then you have to sign the citation. If you dont then you go to jail. By signing it you're saying that you understand you have an obligation to appear in court but you're not admitting guilt.
Now, I dont know is urinating in public is a civil matter or an arrestable offense in Canada. Im gonna move this to the Canadian forum for NARC...

Ha ha, i love it. Sorry i hate to laff at your friends expense, but thats kinda funny. THe enviromental protection act deals with stuff like smoke emmisions, disposal of toxic chemicals, dumping hazardous waste in puplic waters......and you friend gets a ticket for peeing.

Yeah, so is there anythign he can do to fight it or call bullshit on it and say he was fixing his jacket? Should he go to court and fight it hoping the cop doesn't show?
Sure he can beat it if the cop doesnt show up. But me personally, id be a little to embarrased to stand up in a crowded court room and try to explain it.
I say fight it. If the cop shows (and he probably wuddnt miss it for the world) plea and ask for consideration regarding the amount.

Thanks, I told my buddy that and he's considering taking it to court, I told him he has nothing to lose(except his dignity lol). He's just scared of not knowing what to say in court.
