I never thougth this would happend to me.

On was going to make a left turn so I got on the turning lane, the light was red so I stop. Then I turn around to talk to my gf. A few seconds later I hear a loud noise. The next thing I now the car is going foward. I look at the light and its still red. Thats when I realize that I had been hit and my left was off the brake pedal. I stop the car, put my harzards on and ask my gf if she is ok. She wasn't doing so good. So I stayed with here for some time I don't know how long the next thing I know theres a lady knocking on my window. ( I guess I momentary past out cause I Can't remember any else) I get off the car and she tells me that she called the cops and not to move. Then a guy (the one that hit me) comes and tell me "How much do you want? I don't want you to report this." I tell him I wasn't going to let him go. He then started to say "What the F*(^ where you doing you F(*(&ing idiot. The light was green and you were stop. Now I'm trying to do you a favor..." Then the lady yelled from here car "I already called the cops." So they guys just goes back to his car. I was going to get his info but before I could the paramedics where there and took me to the side and asked me if I was ok. I told them that I was, I only had a little pain but my gf was bad. The cop took the guys info and his story and my info and side of the story.

This happed around 6:30pm and my gf had to be transported to the hospital were we had to wait till 11:30.

My dad was going to take my car to the shop today but I still haven't heard from him. (I'm going to college way from home but was visiting my parents in my home town.)

Anyway, stupid drivers suck. How fast did he hit you? You got that lady to be a witness for you?
Maybe not be related but I HATE those people who run up to your *** and stop a few inches from your bumper. You never know if they are actually braking or gonna hit you.

I was just looking for opinions or advise. My back pain is slowly going away not gone yet. Some guys I talk too said that I may not feel the damage up to two week later? Should I just get check? Can I add this to the claim?

I don't know how fast he was going. The officer said he would have the report in two weeks. My gf's brother is going to email me the pictures of the car. So I'll post them up later

when you get into an accident never ever say that your not hurt. since they can go back and say look he said he was fine so hes faking now. and usualy you will feal the back pain in a few days after the accident not right away.

contact your insurance company to see if you have medical coverage and if you do then go to the doctor. the person who rear-ended you is at fault anyways and they will have to pay the bills if you sue them.

yip... my from your drawing it looks like you the turning lane was stopped and maybe the lane to the right was going straight and had a green... either way, the guy is at fault... i mean seriously, what is he gonna say? "officer, the light was green so i kept going and hit him..." anyway, good luck, hopefully the pain will go away... maybe it's just a sprain? thats what i had.

sue him definetly. If he comes up to you and the first thing he says is how much do you want. And then gets all pissed about you calling the cops, then screw him. So basically the light was green from his point of view, so he decides to ram you. If you have back pain definetly sue him so you dont have to pay for it, it was his fault, make him pay.

I was rear ended 2 weeks ago
Heres my a log of my pain from my experience

The moment I got rear ended, I got out of the car and my lower back felt stiff, that's it, nothing else. Couple hours pass then it started to bother me (my lower back) I couldn't sit comfortably, also couldn't stand either. Overall the pain was about a 5 for the first day.

Couple days pass, I'd say 3 days, this is when it started to hurt reallly bad, when I drove I couldn't sit properly at all, and my back would hurt on every bump the car felt on the road.

K this might be long but Im trying to help you, from my experiences and hope others read this as well

a week after I started getting headaches, not to bad but still had headaches and would feel dizzy shoulders were a little sore, so was my neck, on this week I went to a chiropractor. and talked to my laywer last week.

then this week, I went to 3 sessions of message therapy and saw my chiropractor, this is for 3 days a week, By this week things got worse. I feel very dizzy, couldn't sleep without any tylonol3, and I have headaches troughout the day, I can't even pick anything up that weights more then 15 pounds or my back starts to hurt and shoulders start to tighten up, I use to weightlift but I can't really do that anymore because of the accident.

From my experience, it took 2 weeks after the accident before any "REAL" pain started to kick in, the first week was nothing, second week was ok compared to this week, this week I feel like total sh.it. I don't know if this is related but yesterday I was eating at the dinner table and my vision sliped , it felt like I tilted my head to the left and back real quick.

Go see a doctor and anyone that will make your pain go away, in all honesty I would of rather not been in a car accident, even if I did get X amount of money, now my back is messed up for life.

its good EMS responded, however report any pain you suffer that is believed to be a result of the accident. seeing a doctor sooner then later will help your cause in the long run especially if you are seeking damages/compensation.
