My *** got pulled over...

I just got pulled over bout an hour ago for the very first time since I started driving around 2 years ago and I got really lucky....I was being stupid and driving kinda fast so the cop pulled me over...lol I was so nervous i couldnt find my insurance card and gave the cop an expired card by accident..

When I found the renewed card I showed it to him but it was too late and he wrote me up for an expired insurance card...But he did give me a break and didnt give me a speeding ticket so I couldnt complain

...The cop told me to plead not guilty and attach a copy of my insurance card wit the ticket --so I already mailed out my ticket I am definetly gonna learn from this incident and take it easy from now on heheh

Its nice to see that not all cops can be a$$holes...

what do you mean not all cops? this was your first time ****.... so i'm pretty sure you haven't really felt the wrath of them yet.

edit: every cop is and *** around here! ****ing HPD

odd that he gave you the summons even though you produced the valid insurance card. thats how we do it here in maine as well. we tell the operators to mail in their valid insurance card and thats it, no fine or anything. pretty easy.

Haha....seems like you've had your troubles wit the law eh lol-- you know I was actually considering joining the NYPD at one point but its just not for me...

you should be all set as long as you send in a valid insurance card. make phtocopies of everything just in case something comes up such as a court date, hearing etc.

your all set same thing happened to me. I just didnt have my full insurance card , i had the other portion that you dont need.so i got a ticket for failure to produce an insurance card. I sent in a copy in the mail with the ticket pleading not guilty and i was fine, no court.
