I won at court WHAATTTT!!
OH YEAH!!!!!!! okay for those who don't know..... that's all of you except EliteCivicEX01 and theamazingasian (dunno if he's ever even on here!) i got a stop sign ticket for $80 plus $40+ for traffic school on October 22 of this year... but, instead of just submissively paying the ticket, i decided to mail in a hearing request to the clerk of courts in Orlando... but before i went, i went back to the site of offense and took pictures of the "intersection" and thought of ways to tell the judge that I had not committed the infraction. there were MANY COUNTLESS specifics that I could point out to him WITH the pictures and without to justify my argument, that that citation was
. i got my appearance date on December 16... i was soooooo nervous when i went. and i didnt even think about appropriate colors for the event... i just looked thru my closet and i picked out this hot pink shirt that i really realllllllly like and i was like AH wow i LOVE this shirt I think i'll wear THIS one!! and i put it on... not thinking twice, but when i got there (we had to stand in a looooong disney line to get in) i realized that the second brightest color was the hunter green of the deputy sheriff's uniform. ha. ha. ha. it was even weirder when i got into the little court room, too... when i was going thru the metal detectors, one deputy sheriff that was helping out with that told me that the best way to fight a ticket was with photographs, which he saw. so i got into the courtroom and despite my weird-feeling of brightness, AND that i was the youngest one in there, finally it was my turn and i went and squeaked out to the judge why i could not possibly have been guilty. it was after school so i explained to him that everyone was trying to get out of school at the same time and that intersection was crowded therefore it was impossible to roll the stop w/ people ahead of you (stop sign was approx. 100 ft from the road to begin w/... pictures showed and judge did not like the sign's placement either) ...at the beginning i was so nervous and shaky but then i got a grip and began by telling the judge that FIRST off the officer wrote on my citation AND stated in court, an "intersection" that didn't exist; they were, infact, PARALLEL. after that, soon enough though my words flowed with ease and i mentioned that i had pictures. i had to show them to the officer first and he told the judge that one was wrong or something. i could tell that the officer was pretty impressed with my pictures and said that he was going to reserve judgement until he could spend more time going over the pictures.... the officer never countered ANYTHING i said, except that one single picture. and apparently that worked for me!!! i went online two weeks later after not yet receiving anything in the mail and found, after i looked up my name and citation #, "CASE SATISFIED" in red all over.... and in the history of events section it said, December 17 (day after appearance): FOUND NOT GUILTY.... and everything is OVER im SO HAPPY. now though, just in case, i make it a point to stop completely at that stop sign ALL THE TIME. i can't say that i never ran that stop sign but, i didn't want to pay at least $120 if I didn't have to... muhahahahaha
SNAPS FOR CAITLIN!!!!
just thought i'd tell all you guys the most exciting and nervewracking thing thats EVER happened to me OMG I NEVER WANT TO DO THAT AGAIN!!!!

I bet it was even easier tho coz ur a chick....
Like.... if girls get pulled over they can often do the "I'm so so so sorry crying thing"
If guys try that the cop will prolly slap em upside the head and give em a bigger fine.
ROFL.
Congrats anyway!
